Spiritual Care
“Oh come to the water all you who are thirsty, come to me, listen, and your soul will live” Isaiah 55:1, 3
As you receive your diagnosis and begin your treatment you may find your mind wrestling with many questions. You may wonder why this is happening to you. You may wonder how this is going to change your life. You may begin to look at what your priorities have been in life and now you are thinking maybe they should have been different. Old hurts from the past may suddenly come to mind and yearning for resolution begins to build within you. You find yourself thinking how precious your family is and what could you do to express your great love for them.
As these and other concerns arise within you, you may find it helpful to explore these questions. The staff at Froedtert South’s Spiritual Care Department are committed to bringing comfort, healing, compassion, and support to our patients, their families, and our staff regardless of their religious affiliation.
