    • Alan Gegenheimer, D.O.

      Dr. Gegenheimer, from his 12 years of Naval Service and 12 years of private practice, has extensive experience with complicated sports and trauma injuries and advanced arthroscopic techniques for the shoulder, knee, wrist and ankle. 

      Dr. Gegenheimer uses an advanced approach to total shoulder, hip and knee replacement.  For example, he is the only one in the area performing  Biomet XP knee replacement  surgery which preserves all ligaments so your knee will feel like a normal knee again when playing sports.   He will take the time and together come up with a plan that is just right for you.  Dr. Gegenheimer is the sports medicine physician for Indian Trail High School and Tremper High School.

    • Craig Moe, M.D.

      Dr. Moe is a board  certified orthopedic surgeon with over 16 years of experience.  He specializes in knee and hip replacement surgery, including difficult and revision cases.  Additionally, Dr. Moe treats fractures and sports injuries.

      Dr. Moe is passionate about educating his patients about treatment options available and works with them to find the best option whether it is a surgical or non-surgical approach.

    • Mohammad Al Sawaf, M.D.

      Mohammad AlSawaf, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and a specialist in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow.

      Dr. AlSawaf received his fellowship training with The CORE Institute. He completed his residency at Wayne State University in Michigan where he received extensive training in orthopedic surgery. During his residency, Dr. AlSawaf served as the Curriculum Coordinator for orthopedic residents. Dr. AlSawaf earned his medical degree from University of Jordan School of Medicine where he received his Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.

      Dr. AlSawaf is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). He remains active in the medical community through educational presentations and ongoing research projects. His areas of interest include bonepreserving shoulder replacement as well as Quality of Care initiatives.

      When you’re in need of a total joint replacement or revision, we have created a special program that brings together a team of experienced and skilled surgeons with caring and specially-trained nurses, therapists and technicians. Our goal is to provide seamless, coordinated care, and get you back to your favorite activities as soon as possible.
